"A very roomy and comfortable holiday home, ideal for long stays - it was a 'home from home'. A quiet rural setting with good road links to main routes. Pleasant and relaxing with good walks along Llangollen Canal. We hope to stay again later this year."

"Although the weather was very cold this property was warm and cosy, the heating system was easy to operate and very efficient. A lovely place to spend Christmas, and to wake up and see snow covered hills from the bedroom was a real delight."

"Lovely little home ideally suited for a family of four. Could not fault the house except for the lounge TV being too small and positioned too high on the wall. Location perfect as it is situated close to Chirk Castle but also ideal for Llangollen and the Wrexham area."

"For us the whole experience of staying at Fairfield was most enjoyable. The accommodation was first class. We were made so very welcome by the owner, who had written a letter in which she said - I hope you enjoy your stay at Fairfield, and that there were eggs and milk in the fridge as a welcome gift. The house was clean, bright, and had everything we needed. We made very good use of the little summer house and our neighbours were most friendly."

"House was very cosy with good central heating as the weather was rather cool. Didn't get chance to use the garden or the nice looking 'chalet' in the garden which would have been nice for children to use."
