Reviews of Erw Nant
"This cottage was very beautiful and i would highly recommend it. The decor was very modern and comfortable. There were four bedrooms and one of them had an en-suite bathroom which was good. However, the beds were slightly hard and close to the floor but they were ok. The kitchen was very modern and all the appliances were easy to use and very good for cooking food. The living room had very comfortable leather sofas and window seats which showcased the wonderful views. Sitting outside was good because of the lack of noise and light pollution which let you see the stars. The WiFi was very fast and this was helpful considering that there was no phone signal, this isn't the fault of the owner however. The TV was small but it worked well, but being at the cottage you probably wouldn't want to watch TV. The villages of Chirk and Pontfadog are pretty close by car, the roads may be difficult for inexperienced drivers and a small car would be easier to drive up the narrow roads. The town of Llangollen is about a 20 min car journey away and there are some nice places there to eat and drink. I would definitely recommend staying here."

"A great property whose layout worked well for our 2 family's, 4 bedrooms, 1 ensuite, 2 bathrooms. We Loved the upside down aspect of the property. The living room being upstairs gave you great views and it had plenty of space for the 7 of us. The kitchen was impressive and well equipped, it had more pans and utensils than a professional kitchen. The owner had left tea, coffee, milk and Welsh cakes which was a lovely touch. The property was really clean and the log fire had been set up, which we didn't need to use until our last evening as the property was so warm with the central heating. The property is close to Chirk and Llangollen and there is also a very good pub just a 10 minute walk away (see separate review). It was a real pleasure to stay here and we had such a relaxing time that we didn't want to leave."

"Just spent a lovely week at this property. Wonderful views from the windows and so peaceful. Good accomodation which suited our family of eight. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a good kitchen. The children loved the garden and the various areas where they could play. "

"We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. There is a lovely terraced garden with a stream running through. The spacious upstairs lounge had entrancing views of the surrounding countryside. We particularly enjoyed having a sliding door opening onto the perspex balcony just by the dining room table which seated all of our party of five adults and four small children. The interior is stylish and comfortable with excellent showers and a large bath tub in the downstairs bathroom held all four children at once. The beds were very comfortable but you do have to be aware that they are low. The weather was superb and we found lots to do, including visiting Pistyll Rhaeader, spending a day on the Llangollen canal, biking and walking in Ty Mawr country park, collecting wild mushrooms and taking the children swimming at Splash Magic leisure pool at Plas Madoc. This was ideal for our non swimmer grandchildren aged between six years and nine months."

"The location of Erw Nant was absolutely magical. The views from the windows were stunning and the house made the very most of the views of the surroundings. The general feel of the home was so very special. There were eight in our group and we could all chat together, sitting very comfortably but have our own space if necessary. The quality of the showers, wood burner and sofas was excellent. We adored the area and will definitely return, hopefully to this particular house ! The parking was also very generous and we managed to fit four cars in the area"

"The location of the house was set in a picturesque valley and conveniently placed being only 600 metres from a pleasant pub. It was such a pleasure to stay in such a nicely decorated space. Spotlessly clean and every kitchen utensil you could possibly require. Log burning stove added even more ambience and comfort. Will definitely return."
