"It was the owners who made Yew Tree Cottage such a special place. They made sure we had everything we needed - friendly, but very professional. The next door pub, which they also own, was great - a nice relaxing place, with wonderful home cooking and friendly locals. We enjoyed our stay, and felt very much at home. It was a good starting point for day trips."

"This cottage was, overall, very warm and inviting. We were very comfortable and our landlady very obliging. Being able to have dinner in the adjacent pub when necessary was a great bonus and the food was good. The store keeper runs a quaint, but efficient store, and all the local identities were very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Wales, being able to go out each day as we wanted to, and going back to our base in the evening. Wales is a beautiful country, and we covered a lot of interesting places and things."

"First impressions really good. Three televisions all working, with good selection of channels. Personal and very genuine service by our hosts, and also very friendly locals who all added to our welcome. Lovely service in pub with evening meal and excellent breakfast brought to our door. Nothing was too much trouble, having a disabled mum this was extremely important. The pub is super friendly and not noisy at night. Probably missed something good out, but everything was excellent and made for a great and relaxing holiday. "
