Off road parking for 2 cars. Shared BBQ and outdoor seating area. The local launderette is 5 miles and is open 8am - 8pm. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Pub 1 mile, shop 3 miles.

Newtown lies on the banks of the River Severn, in the heart of the Montgomeryshire countryside, and boasts a vibrant art gallery, museums and a range of pubs and restaurants. Explore the ruins of the Norman Motte and Bailey castle in the old county town of Montgomery, wander the Grade I listed formal gardens at Gregynog Hall, or visit the world-famous Powis Castle and Gardens, often frequented by Prince Charles. The medieval market towns of Shrewsbury and Ludlow offer award-winning restaurants, cosy pubs and quaint shops, as well as festivals and markets, including annual Christmas markets, whilst Ludlow also boasts over 600 listed buildings and Ludlow Castle, so there is something to enjoy all year round. A little further afield, Machnynlleth is home to the Centre for Alternative Technology, and also Machnynlleth Golf Club.
