The village is home to both a local pub and a coffee shop with a general store attached, offering everything you could need for a self-catered stay. Nearby Machynlleth is well-worth a visit for its wider selection of amenities, as well as its street markets every Wednesday, art galleries and Museum of Modern Arts, or visit the coast of Dolgellau for a wide range of leisure activities.
