Location
Sheep Dip is a superb semi-detached cottage set on the owners' working livestock farm, 1.5 miles from the village of Llanfihangel and 6.5 miles from the town of Llanfyllin. This cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms, consisting of one king-size double and one ground floor twin with en-suite shower, together with a family bathroom. The cottage also has a kitchen and a sitting room with dining area and woodburner. Outside there's off road parking for two cars, a patio with furniture, shared gardens and shared use of a hot tub and sauna. A wonderful Wales base.
The charming town of Llanfyllin is situated deep in the scenic Cain Valley, surrounded by rolling hills and the Berwyn Mountains. The town has a good selection of shops where you can buy all of your essentials. Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with considerable architectural variety, it is home to Y Dolydd, an early 19th Century workhouse, which once featured on the BBC Restoration programme.
