The village of Caersws in Mid Wales is situated on the River Severn and offers a railway station, church, shop, pubs, butchers and a Post Office. Just six miles away is the market town of Newtown, where you will find a number of shops, pubs, museums and an art gallery. Walking, cycling and fishing can all be enjoyed, and there are a host of popular attractions within reach.
Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

"Being a converted Pub, there are ample of corners you can slip into and numerous places to enjoy time together. The Garden is well landscaped and the kids loved the time they spent outdoors. Highly recommended for families."

"This is a special house. It was well equipped and very nicely furnished, we all enjoyed the bar and the open fire. The snug is a really comfortable area to sit and chat. There was lots of space for a large party."

"The Talkhouse is comfortable, spacious with a fantastic bar/pub area, a great place to be together or spread out around the house. We had an amazing Christmas here. The house was clean and we'll equipped with plenty of fresh clean towels. Each room having its own en suite was a massive added bonus I'd definitely consider booking again and would recommend to friends."

"We had a fantastic weekend at The Talkhouse. The house was fantastic and perfect for both the adults and the children in the party. We were stuck inside for the weekend because of the bad weather but there was so much space it wasn't an issue. The bar area was amazing. We will definitely be returning!"

"Very spacious accommodation that enabled a large family to reunite and enjoy each other's company without getting under each other's feet! When the sun was shining it was wonderful to sit outside the house, or in the "bandstand" and for a little while watch the wildlife and think that the world is a wonderful place. The bar is a unique feature that allows drinks for the family to be sorted (and consumed!) without interfering with activity in the kitchen."
