Location
Church Cottage is a lovely, family-friendly detached cottage in a village called Scleddau, just over two miles from Fishguard in Pembrokeshire. The cottage is set mostly over the ground floor, with level access through a small porch at the front of the property available. There are four bedrooms on the ground floor with underfoot heating; three twin bedrooms and one room with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a Whirlpool bath. There is also a shared family bathroom with a second Whirlpool bath downstairs along with a wet room-style shower room. Upstairs is a fifth bedroom, the master, with a king-size bed and a bathroom next door with a further Whirlpool bath! Back downstairs is a study, a kitchen with a breakfast bar for two and a sitting area with a woodburner, plus a separate dining room where you can all sit and enjoy family meals or venture out onto the patio in summer. There is ample off road parking and a fenced front lawned garden with patio and furniture that can be accessed from two of the ground floor bedrooms. With walks from the door and lots of great attractions, including the coastline, nearby, Church Cottage is wonderful for a family getaway!
Fishguard is located on the Pembrokeshire Coast, which has been voted the second best coastal destination in the world according to the National Geographic magazine. Lower Fishguard Harbour is a delight for sailing enthusiasts.
Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
