Reviews of The Granary
"This fantastic little cottage is in a lovely rural setting, but it's not that far from several great places like Monmouth and Abergavenny. We wanted somewhere to chill out and that's exactly what we were able to do. We arrived in glorious sunshine and were greeted by the very friendly owners, who'd kindly left us wine, welsh cakes, homemade jam and fresh flowers. We used the Granary as our base for walking along the Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal and climbing up some local mountains - the Sugar Loaf and Skirrid Fawr are highly recommended. Hopefully we will return soon."

"My hubby and I have just returned from a long weekend at The Granary. Wow is all I can say. The Granary has been beautifully and tastefully decorated throughout with attention to detail. We were greeted by our host Karen who showed us around and assured us if we needed anything just to ask. She had left milk, bread, tea and coffee, homemade jam and freshly laid eggs, amongst other things. The bed is extremely comfortable, and everything is really cosy and homely. There were fresh flowers in the living room and bedroom. Graham, Karen's husband was also extremely friendly and helpful, offering us coal, wood and utensils for our bbq. They have four very friendly chickens who wander the yard. So in short if you want to stay in an amazing place, with amazing surroundings and views, and amazing hosts we cannot recommend The Granary enough. Thank you so much Karen and Graham. We shall be back."
