Shop and pub 2 mins walk.

Ideally placed to explore the Brecon Beacons National Park with its abundance of walking, cycling and pony trekking, The Old Stable is a lovely holiday base.
Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

"Situated near Abergaveny in Gilwern, a friendly village with shops including a butcher, Pubs that do good food. There is a fish and chip shop I would recommend too. This It is a good location for walkers and cyclists, the canal tow path is very close by. The Stable cottage is a good base for exploring the Brecon Beacons and the Black mountains. The welcome pack was a lovely surprise on arrival."

"It was a lovely place to spend a few days. It was small but in a good way, perfect for a couple. Gilwern is very nice and the people were very friendly. We were both very happy with our stay. The internet and other electronics were all very good."
