Reviews of Keeper's Cottage
"Wow! We recently stayed at Keepers Cottage and it was absolutely amazing. The decor of the cottage is so fresh, stylish and cosy. The owner Karen is so lovely! She made our visit to Moelfre extra special. We can't thank her enough. The best thing about this cottage is the view! It is breathtaking. The village is lovely and I recommend visiting the local pub which has a great atmosphere. We also visited Catch 22 a 20 minute drive from Moelfre. The food is unbelievable. We will be definitely be returning! I wish we could live here."

"Have just returned from a week in this property. Walk from parking space to cottage is along a path in front of 4 terraced cottages. Path needs traversing with care as made from slabs of slate that in places are very loose & uneven also unlit at night. Veiws are super. Cottage clean. Stairs to bedrooms are very steep (as are mine in my cottage) an extra rail fix to wall would help with stability in climbing & descending. Bedrooms very clean & inviting with crisp white linen & comfortable beds. Bathroom large but shower worked from mixer taps. Electric shower would have been better & more reliable. Lounge a bit stark with a lot of flippery, could have been made more homely & cosy with a rug between sofa's to keep feet warm as very cold floor. It would have been nice if fire had been working & not blocked with loose tin sheet which rattled & howled when wind blew. Fire would have supplimented oil heating which heated bedrooms well but left lounge cold. Kitchen good with lots of work tops, washing machine & dish washer. Could do with pans lids that fitted the odd assortment of pans. Needs supplying with sharp knives for cutting vegetables (but perhaps your not supposed to cook on holiday) Cutler odd shapes but usable as are dishes. Could also do with a supply of cling film & tin foil which all other cottages I've rented have had, also needs place mats for dining table which has glass (Plastic) top, had to use pot cloths to stop hot plates damaging surface. Moelfre itself is very pretty with lot's of walks, two pubs, a chippy & shop that sell's wonder fresh bread. Have enjoyed holiday thanks to the company of my daughter but will not be returning to this property. Not recomended in cold weather unless you don't mind staying in bedrooms but view out of front bedroom windows is wonderful so maybe that would be your best option.I'm sure in summer would be fine but house needs to be made more inviting but it's saving grace is very clean & wonderful views"

Ideal for exploring the island and to see the practice/training launching of the new Moelfre lifeboat. Thanks to the owner for another lovely stay at your cottage and best wishes for the future."

Very well thought out holiday let. Only thing I never found was an ironing board...not truly missed! The owners have not skimped on furnishings, or comforts. Set in a lovely village, good pub. Great walks, and a good base for exploring the rest of anglesey. The peace and quiet was wonderful."

"A lovely cottage which has been decorated & furnished very tastefully. Fantastic view ut to sea & walks from the doorstep. Comfortable and cosy cottage. Very steep stairs may be difficult for those less able. Cottage lacks coat hooks by the door for storage of out door wear. There was no hoover or access to a mop to clean the kitchen. The keys were stiff & difficult to use. Small court yard garden only. But we were generally very happy with overall holiday accomodation & location is spectacular."

"The cottage! It was clean, fresh, elegant white furniture, just perfect. The kitchen was so well-equipped, I could've baked cakes/muffins and treated it as my own - but obviously I was on holiday so was not cooking all the time. My 2.5 year old daughter loved all the teddys (in white outfits), so adorable, she had to sleep with all of them and loved her bunk bed room. The 2 main bedrooms and living room have wonderful sea views which are so beautiful to see when you first wake up in the morning, during the day and at sunset. Truly a fantastic cottage and location was perfect too."

"The biggest draw for this property are the uninterrupted seaviews (birds, dolphins and porpoise). It is very convenient for joining the island's coastal footpath. The furniture is tasteful and the rooms sympathetically decorated. There is a small patio to the front (altho' the adjoining property has pedestrian access through it). Moelfre is a nice unspoilt village with a small harbour."
