Llanerchymedd is a former market town resting at the heart of Anglesey. It was once home to the cobblers industry with over 250 shoemakers in the town and numerous corn mills. Close by is the freshwater reservoir at Llyn Alaw which offers a circular walk and the coastal village of Moelfr is seven miles away.
