Reviews of Ffermdy Bach
"The cottage is located on a hillside, surrounded by fields, overlooking the Welsh mountains in the distance. If you have a pair of binoculars you can see the summit of Snowdon! We found the cottage to be lovely and cosy. The central heating was excellent and kept us warm throughout our stay. The bedrooms are light and spacious with Velux Windows and ample storage for clothes etc Between the bedrooms is a sitting area where you can read, play games or watch DVDs on a TV. The large wetroom has a bath, shower, sink & toilet. There is also an in-built hair dryer. Also, a separate toilet is available in the adjoining room. These are all located on the ground floor. There is everything to keep your outdoor clothing clean & dry. Outside the cottage is a sink for rinsing sand, mud, and seawater of boots, clothing, etc. For drying, there is electrical clothes airer and a washing machine for washing dirty clothing. There is a selection of spades and buckets in a box outside for the beach. There is also a windbreak to borrow. Alan and Gill were very welcoming and helpful with information etc. Highly recommended!"

"Anglesey has much to offer for places to visit and things to do. Ffermdy Bach is ideally located: near a gorgeous beach, almost devoid of people, and charming woodland, close to fabulous castles and many other interesting sights, and a short drive to a major supermarket. And that view... just breathtaking!"

The log fire makes it a good place for a visit out of summer. The welcome package was much appreciated and the owners are friendly, welcoming and helpful without ever being intrusive. "The owners have thought of every thing you should require for a perfect self catering stay, including a wonderful bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived. The building itself is beautifully renovated and the fittings and decor are tranquil and cosy at the same time. The view from the neat patio/garden is absolutely stunning and on a clear day Snowdonia mountains are amazingly clear. The kitchen is very well equipped as is the utility room. The bathroom/wet room is huge and the shower is powerful and temperature control very effective. The bedding and towels were good quality. We are already looking at dates to stay again in 2015."

"We have had a wonderfully relaxing holiday in anglesey. The sunny Easter weather has helped but mainly, the beautiful cottage, Ffermdy Bach, has made our week so very special. When my grandson arrived overnight, they even provided toys, stairgates and a cot at short notice. Wonderfully peaceful, beautiful views. Alan and Gillian made us welcome, they seem to have thought of everything. There is a utility room with all you could ever need, including a heated clothes drier. The bathroom is on one level with a walk-in shower. Though it is rural, there are lots of interesting places to visit nearby. The beach at Newborough is lovely, especially when it is combined with a walk through the forest. Just lovely."
