Reviews of Apartment 4 Dolgoch Falls
"I found the apartment clean and tidy and a good central base for exploring mid wales with my family. There were some features that you don't normaly get such as a games room and washing machine very usefull if the weather turns we were lucky and it didnt. The apartment is close to footpaths and a bus stop so a car is not essential but advised. We found dead it a great place to stay with two young children and would go back."

"While this apartment could do with updating, it would be a perfectly adequate holiday cottage in a picturesque location, if only it were clean. We arrived after a 7 hour journey with 4 children. The accommodation had a damp, musty smell. Every corner of every room contained cobwebs and insects either dead, living or both. The skirting boards, wood burner, pictures and articles on the wall were covered in thick dust. The soap dish in the shower contained an old piece of white soap and the grimey remnants of even older green soap. We wiped the dining table and the wipe came up black with dirt. It was a similar story with the sticky kitchen floor. The bath and shower contained dirt and hair. My 4 year old son found two tablets on the floor by the bed he was to sleep in and my daughter found a half eaten chocolate bar in a drawer in her room. Two members of the family are asthmatic and had breathing difficulties due to the dust. Despite this, when both ourselves and the company we booked the cottage through contacted the owners they thought it was acceptable to send a cleaner two days later to "remove the remaining cobwebs and reclean the bathrooms." We were unwilling to put up with such filth on what was supposed to be a holiday so we left and returned home with a full refund from Sykes, the company we booked through, and four very disappointed children."
