Reviews of Dafarn Newydd

"A most beautiful ,and delightful cottage in a idyllic scenic location of Wales. Stunning scenery all round situated between the valley surrounded by the mountains. We had an amazing time enjoying the amenities of this lovely cottage, Lots of time to take some photography study the local areas , visit Snowdon , Dolgellau , Harlech Castle and Barmouth town . Wish we had more time to spend here. The gardens are well maintained and the cottage is immaculate. Alan has provided us with so much in the cottage : fresh milk, fruit, liquor chocolates, bread, orange juice, biscuits and fresh fruit and bread. A most generous and welcoming gesture. Everything you need is here. We would definitely come again. Comfortable King size bed and Inglenook Log Fire for cosy nights in . Nice modernised kitchen and shower room nicely equipped and quality bath linen and robes provided with heated towel rail. Enjoyed a very nice evening meal at the Brigands Inn although it was extremely quiet and we were eating on Wednesday night the food was excellent and very filling. I recommend the Welsh Roast lamb and the Roast Belly Pork delicious and the dessert to die for Sticky toffee pudding and vanilla ice cream very nice indeed."

It was very comfortable to relax in at the end of a busy day, I just wish it was colder so we could have lit the magnificent fire more than we did."
