Reviews of Y Bwthyn
"The location was very peaceful and quite remote, being three miles from the nearest village. There was just the sound of the nearby river, and, on days that weren't misty, the views of the nearby hills were beautiful. The cottage was more than adequate for our needs, it was spacious and very clean, with plenty of leaflets and information inside the house. We particularly liked being close to nature, so this suited all four of us."

"An excellent property which was well furnished and welcoming. This has to be one of the best equipped properties we have ever stayed in. The soft furnishings and beds were extremely comfortable. Everything possible had been done to ensure our holiday was comfortable and hassle free. Thank you to the owner for the trouble they've taken to make this cottage a home from home."

"This was an absolutely typical country cottage that us city folk imagine and it did not disappoint in any way. The farmer was extremely helpful in pointing out places to walk our dog - which was a delightful lane with a river running next to it right outside our cottage. He also gave us tips on places to visit in the local area which was extremely helpful. We were left to enjoy our cottage holiday without intrusion however we knew we could ask the owner for anything we needed. Would highly recommend this cottage to anyone wanting a relaxing country holiday away from the city, and also close to the coastal town of Barmouth which gave us the best of both worlds."
