Reviews of Maxwell's House
"The location was ideal as 5 of our party traveled by train; the station is 2 minutes away. Everything is near at hand so not having transport for everyone was no problem. Also it is so easy to get places by bus or train. The accommodation was perfect for us seven, ranging from 70 to 7 months. It was clean, comfortable and very well equipped ( except for a few kitchen items i.e. Measuring jug, cheese grater and casserole dish). The beds are so comfortable, we all slept very well, and the shower is amazing. For us it definitely was ' home from home' and we will be returning as soon as possible."

"We had a lovely short break. As Maxwell's House was very homely and spacious we were happy to stay in waiting for the weather to clear. Being right in Barmouth itself was ideal with no need to use the car at all during our stay. There was a good selection of shops, places to eat and things to do. All in all, an excellent stay in a lovely well furnished, well equipped house."
