Reviews of Gwel Yr Haul

"We spent a wonderful few days in Gwel yr Haul. The house was very well furnished and spotlessly clean. It's location just outside Barmouth with a short walk across the traintracks to the beach is ideal. The campsite and caravan park it is located within are very well run and maintained by very friendly and helpful staff. It felt like they really wanted to make everyone's stay as enjoyable as possible! The on-site shop is well stocked, and has a particularly fine choice of toys and games for little ones. We stayed for a few wet days in September so didn't get to enjoy the balcony, but it looked very appealing for a summer's evening, sipping a cold drink as the sun set over the sea. The property is well sound-proofed, and the occasional train passing by did not disturb us. Most of the time we didn't even notice them. Our 3 year old had a great time, and was very upset to have to leave!"
