Across the road is a small garden area with table and chairs and parking is available within a layby. The Old Post Office is a superb base for exploring North Wales.

Arthog is a small village resting on the lower reaches of the beautiful Mawddach Estuary and is within close reach to the seaside town of Barmouth and is on the outskirts of Dolgellau. Within close reach is the wonderful mountain of Cader Idris, offering superb walks. The seaside village of Fairbourne is also nearby and houses a safe sandy beach with rock pools. Seven miles away is the town of Dolgellau which offers a selection of shops, pubs and restaurants.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
