Electric convector heaters. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair available (no cot bedding provided). Off road parking for 2 cars. Decked terrace with furniture and BBQ. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops and pubs 2 miles. Note: Although this property offers ground floor accommodation, it is accessed via some steps and is not suitable for wheelchair users.
Location
This comfortable and well-presented lodge is set in an enviable elevated position, 600 feet above sea level, boasting outstanding coastal views from this wonderful Aberdovey location. With four bedrooms, two double, a twin and a bunk bedroom, it sleeps up to eight people. All ground floor, this property also has an open plan living area, a bathroom and a separate shower room. Outside there is off road parking and far-reaching views to the sea. Bwlchgwyn Farm is a fantastic base for a seaside getaway.

This lovely harbour town has relaxed and welcoming atmosphere and wonderfully temperate climate, four miles of soft golden beaches, water sports and sailing opportunities and a great golf course ranked in the top 100 in the UK. The beaches of Aberdovey stretch north to Tywyn (home of the famous Talyllyn Steam Railway) along four miles of sand-dune backed coastline. Sunbathing, surfing, swimming and fishing are all popular beach pursuits here, and the estuary is perfect for a wide range of water sports activities. The stunning peaks of the Cader Iris and Aran Fawddwy mountains are close by, and are contrasted beautifully by the valleys of Dovey and Dysynni. Whether you love walking, climbing or watching the rich abundance of wildlife, Aberdovey makes the perfect holiday destination at any time of year.

"The lodge was so quiet and private. It was advertised as dog friendly and we have two young dogs and it was brilliant for us. The furnishings in the living areas were very clean and comfortable but serviceable for pets..The bedrooms were light, airy and very spacious with lovely fresh bed linen and towels. "

"It was a breathtaking first walk onto the decking. Everything was perfect. Aberdovey and the nearby beaches were ideal for children. We managed a short walk and there were masses of paths to choose from. Aberdovey golf course was very special."

"This was a lovely place to stay and the weather was perfect. If we did not have our grandchildren with us, we would have happily stayed at Pentref all day as there was everything you needed indoors and the decking was perfect with such amazing views. We found Aberdovey had a lovely beach and we all enjoyed crab fishing off the jetty."

"Aberdovey is a lovely place the lodge was in an excellent location, and the fixtures and fittings within the lodge are of a very high standard. We had wonderful weather and the balcony was to die for sitting outside barbecueing eating and drinking, with a wonderful view. The lodge is so spacious and was home from home."
