Reviews of The Hayloft

"Myself and a colleague stayed here whist working locally. The Hayloft it's self is stunning! Beautifully renovated, in keeping with the style, but still warm and modern. The beds and shower were a dream and the log fire was an amazing added extra for us. Rosanna and Will were the perfect hosts, on hand if we needed anything but we also felt were private and had our own space too. Would highly recommend!"

"This beautiful barn conversion near Mold was beyond our expectatations! Beautifully appointed, tastefully decorated and immaculately clean, with its own entrance, plenty of wood for the wood burning stove, very comfy beds and a good hot shower. A romantic hideaway with lovely countryside all around yet only a few miles from town. The hosts were always available and the welcome basket included a thoughtful bottle of wine! We had a purrfect week there and hope very much to return."

"We loved our stay in this peaceful, well-appointed barn conversion. It is in a lovely quiet location but it is easy to get to lots of places so you have the best of both worlds ! Within easy reach of North Wales coast, Chester and Cheshire Oaks. Well laid out accommodation with great amenities. Loved the welcome basket on arrival."

"We stayed here as we visited from Australia to see our son. This is a very quiet location, there's a tennis court, it's good for walks and there's pheasants everywhere in the mornings! Great for solitude and far from any main road. A great little place and we'd certainly recommend it. If you like nature then you're close to it here, we could see squirrels and rabbits and buzzards from the back window and we virtually had the whole place to ourselves."

"A wonderful cottage that has added bits of luxury. This was the nicest cottage we've stayed in during our frequent trips to Chester/North Wales so we will most certainly be back in the future. Our kids loved the wild rabbits and chickens around the farm."

"We spotted this cottage on the internet and it seemed to fit everything we were looking for but noticed that there weren't many reviews, it turns out the cottage was only finished a few months ago and 2016 is the first season. The cottage is well appointed with everything you are likely to need and finished to a high standard. Beds were comfortable and there is a good open plan kitchen/ living area, great shower over the bath. Location is also good, on a quiet farm about half a mile from the village of Northrop which in turn is just off the A55 so ideally located for exploring North Wales and Cheshire. We visited Chester Zoo, Conway Castle, Llangollen, Liverpool and Snowdon during a week here. If you are used to city driving then the single track roads around the cottage may take some getting used to, just drive sensibly and take your time. To sum up, a comfortable, well appointed cottage in a great location with friendly owners."
