Welcome to The Granary. This attractive end terraced barn conversion is in the hamlet of Pen-y-Cefn near Caerwys in North Wales, and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.

Two bedrooms: 1 x double with en-suite shower, basin and WC, 1 x twin with sloping ceiling and low doorway (beds end to end) and en-suite corner bath, basin and WC. Kitchen with dining area. Sitting room with patio doors. Electric heating from ground source thermal underfloor heating downstairs and radiators on the first floor. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, (tumble dryer available on request), dishwasher, 37'' TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi, selection of books and games for small children. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent, please bring own beach towels. Cot and highchair. Off road parking for 2 cars. Shared front garden, private enclosed rear lawn. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Farm produce available in season. Shop 2 miles, pub with restaurant 5 mins walk. Note: Max. 1 infant. Note: Only certain devices are able to pick up WiFi, so cannot be guaranteed.

Location

The Granary is a good quality barn conversion, one of a group of three on site, on Pen-y-Cefn Farm in the hamlet of Pen-y-Cefn in Flintshire, North Wales. There are two bedrooms with sloping ceilings, one double and one twin, each with its own en-suite bathroom. Downstairs, there is a well-equipped kitchen with dining area, and a cosy sitting room with doors outside. Guests have use of a shared front courtyard area, and also a private lawned garden. There is off road parking available. With so much within easy reach of The Granary, including the coastline of North Wales, the Snowdonia National Park and the historic city of Chester, this is a superb base for a family or romantic break throughout the year.

The hamlet of Pen-y-Cefn sits in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty close to the Clwydian Hills and lovely North Wales coastline. This hamlet in Flintshire is near to the small town of Caerwys, which has amenities including two pubs, a newsagent, butchers and tennis courts. Resorts local to Pen-y-Cefn include the seaside towns of Rhyl and Prestatyn, with their family attractions and sandy beaches. The market town of Mold is a few miles away, as is the historic city of Chester, with its famous zoo, walls and excellent shopping. The area has plentiful walking, cycling and birdwatching, and is within easy reach of the rest of the North Wales coastline, Anglesey and the Snowdonia National Park.

"A lovely cottage - near to the a55 so we hopped onto that for trips into Caernavon and Conwy for the castles - first class finish - all modern cons dishwasher etc and a family table to eat at - lovely lounge and big Tv - we were in the end one and had garden etc - nice and quiet too - we lobed it and will be back - very satisfied - owners great and not intrusive and had bottle of wine waiting on arrival - it all looks new inside and has been finished off to a high quality (even the skirting boards - I'm a builder so sadly look at these things!) Overall 5 out of 5 from our family"
