Reviews of The Boathouse At The Fisheries

"Scenery absolutely stunning. Waking up to the ducks and swans taping on the bedroom windows every morning was perfect. The boathouse had everything you could ask for. The owners popped down to say hello, absolutely lovely. Took a walk around the lake which was gorgeous on a sunny afternoon. Very peaceful and tranquil. Would I go back yes without a doubt.."

"We had the pleasure of staying here for Christmas and had a perfect week. We loved everything about this property - tastefully designed, well-equipped and in idyllic surroundings. Hosts Malcolm and Moira were very kind and made us feel most welcome. Log burner gives a homely feel to the living area. Walks around the lake and to the local hostelries made our holiday complete. Just wonderful...... thank you!"

"As one of the guinea pig visitors because I know the owners, I can thoroughly recommend this. Not only is it beautifully equipped and laid out, it is also incredibly peaceful and not overlooked in any way. I slept with the curtains open because the view down the lake when you wake up is so lovely. As the bedroom is at lake level, the morning view of the mists over the water and the birdlife is unique. Wonderful weekend."
