"Excellent cottage clean warm and every thing you needed to make it home from home. Sean was very welcoming and helpful even down to telling us the best place to watch the rugby and where to eat and drink . Would love to go again"

"Number 27 Borthyn is a perfect little gem. Beautifully presented and very clean. Ideally located for trips to Rhyl, Bala, and Snowdonia. We couldn't have asked for anything more, comfy beds, roomy living room, powerful shower and well equipped kitchen. Bonus of plenty of space to park. Easy walk into Ruthin for a morning walk with the dog and breakfast from the bakery. Sion and Jane were very welcoming and the neighbours nice to chat to. Road can be busy during the day but quietens down at night, so not a problem to us. Recommended "

"Clean and well-appointed. Everything you need for a comfortable holiday. Owner could not have been nicer or more helpful and patient. (I had quite a few questions) Good location for visiting Snowdon, Llandudno, Conwy, Llangollen, and Chester. All of which we did. Shop one block away and town about a 10 minuted walk. Note it is uphill going but makes coming home easier."

"This little cottage is a gem, clean and tidy with all mod cons, the kitchen is fitted with modern appliances and the bathroom has a fantastic shower with endless hot water. (sounds like an odd thing to point out but many cottages can often feel furnished with secondhand goods.) Ample parking and an outside sun trap perfect for breakfast or evening drinks. The location is ideal for trips in to the mountains or coast or even Liverpool if you fancy a day in the city. Ruthin has plenty to see and do with quirky shops, friendly pubs and loads of takeaways. The welcome Chinese across the road was a firm favourite. Sadly for for us the weather was warm and mostly sunny so no chance to get the wood burner going so we will just have to visit again later in the year to give it a go. Special mention to Sion and Jane who were very caring hosts, calling before we left home to make sure we could find the cottage, popping in to check we had settled in and could work the modern appliances and just a phone call away if we needed them. I can promise you we will be staying here again."

"27 Borthyn was the perfect base for us to explore beautiful North Wales (the coast and Snowdonia national park). It is comfortable walking distance to Ruthin's pretty town centre. The property is spotless yet cosy (refurbished from top to bottom). We had everything we needed for our stay and the complimentary Barra Brith (Welsh tea cake) was a welcome surprise! We loved our stay here (including the dog!) and would highly recommend."

"After an horrific experience with another cottage booked with this company to which no satisfactory reply was give (or concession for this property) we were delighted to arrive at this charming, tastefully modernised, sparklingly clean property. Full marks to the owners, Jane & Sion, for their marvellous effort to update this historic building, giving it just the right degree of character alongside up to date facilities. Every aspect has been taken to make this a comfortable, comforting abode, which we were in sore need of, being in Ruthin for the funeral of a dearly loved parent; it eased the pain & we were even able to enjoy a short break in this lovely market town."
