Nearby Denbigh provides a variety of shops and pubs, and a number of events including walking festivals, beer festivals, the Denbigh and Flint Annual Show, the ClayArt Potters Market and a monthly People's Market. The Snowdonia National Park is a short drive, with lakes, mountains, walking and cycling.
