Reviews of Briws
"Stayed here for a week with friends. Booked because of the location, hot tub and photos of the cottage. It was lovely - the lady owner was present on our first day and was very chatty and friendly. The hot tub water had been replaced earlier on our arrival day which meant we couldn't use it that day, though that wasn't an issue. The cottage was lovely - bright, airy and plenty of space. Over the course of our stay there were issues with the heating which led to 3 days without - it couldn't be helped and the owners were good at keeping me informed regarding what was going on and offered for us to move to a different property - we didn't opt for this and were provided with heaters. The owners did all they could to address the issue and although it was inconvenient, it didn't spoil our week away. The hot tub was a great addition and we enjoyed spending time in this and gazing at the stars (one particular night was extremely clear). We spent days out in Llandudno, Conwy and Betws-y-Coed - all lovely days. Good walks to be had also. There are 3 cottages, all close to one another. Only the larger one was occupied for a few nights whilst we were present - there was no major noise disturbance. Lovely owners who were approachable and friendly. Would definitely recommend staying here and my friends have already booked to come back again with family."

"An amazing barn conversation, everything we needed was there and it was spotlessly clean. It is in a fantastic rural location but only a 20/30min drive to lots of activities."

"Cottage was superb, in a great location with stunning scenery and a perfect base for exploring this part of Wales. You are spoilt for choice regarding things to do, i.e. climbing Mount Snowdon, to going down a copper mine."

"Briws is maintained to a high standard. The hot tub was very welcoming after 3hrs of walking down Snowdon!! Briws is a fantastic cottage and was a joy to return after days out. The sheep in the garden were very welcoming!!! All ingredients made for a thoroughly relaxing holiday. We would recommend Sykes cottages and Briws without a shadow of a doubt. Excellent. "

"The cottage was cosy and warm, despite the weather. Everything had been fitted out to a high standard with apparently no expense spared. Being close to the A5 did make travelling easy, but there was no discernable road noise. Great WiFi."
