Reviews of Bryndias

"Really lovely cottage, lovely people, unlimited wood for the wood burner. Really clean (maybe slightly over clean as a very strong smell of bleach for first couple of days). Amazing location... really close to Pendine Sands. Lovely delivery service from local Curry House... they didn't take card payments over the phone but delivered our food (which was amazing) and said drop the money in to us sometime!! Pigs Ear (the puppy) was sweet and visited us often. Would definitely like to come back. "

"We stayed here for a week with our dog. It was lovely to be able to bring our dog and there was a fully enclosed garden where he could run loose without us worrying about him. There was also a private hot tub in the garden which is perfect for relaxing in while the dog plays in the garden safely. The only slightly annoying thing about the garden was that there is no door from the back of the property so you have to come out the front and walk round to the rear to access it. However this was not a big deal. There was a log fire and the owners kept us stocked up in endless logs to burn and they were friendly and helpful of we wanted advice on the local area but otherwise left us to ourselves. It is on a livery stable so there are horse's, which I enjoyed however there was a horse that would randomly bang on its stable in the night, and although not an issue in itself it would set out dog barking every time which was annoying. This wouldn't be an issue if you don't have a dog though or if your dog is not one to bark at random noises. There is a co-op in most local towns so food supplies were fairly easy to get, and an Indian restaurant very close by which actually allows dogs inside too which was brilliant for us having brought our dog with us. There are a lot of beaches close by so on good weather it would be a dream holiday location. But in bad weather there is always the hot tub and a DVD player and TV indoors. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and found it very relaxing and would recommend this place."

"What an absolutely beautiful place to stay, not only is the cottage wonderful and cosy the surrounding areas are also great. You are far enough in the country to relax but close enough to the shops, beach and conveniences. Our hosts were amazing and we didn't see them other than when we arrived, even though they lived next door! We were greeted with a bottle of wine, welshcakes, dog treats and sweets for the kids. The hot tub and large enclosed garden was perfect for the kids and dogs, as was the cottage itself with beautiful log burner. There were DVD's and games and all that you could ever need and more. An added bonus was that all three of our dogs were welcomed. It is often hard to find somewhere suitable for the children that also accepts 3 small dogs, but this ticked all our boxes."

"I cannot reccomend this place enough. I stayed here for a weekend away with my partner and my dog. Kath was extremely lovely, we were greeted with flowers, a pint of milk, some Welsh cakes, a bottle of wine and some doggy treats. Kath was so helpful and available to answer any questions or queries, however, everything was accommodated for us so did not feel the need to ask anything. The hot tub was just amazing, it was extremely easy to use and was so peaceful to get into to and just relax. Likewise, the logburner created a cosy feel making the weekend even more enjoyable. I cannot understand how there are any negative comments. Although the family have 5 dogs, we did not see them. There was a large metal gate separating their house from the cottage so it would have not been an issue if we did see the dogs. There was also an enclosed garden at the back of the cottage so our dog had his own space to run around whilst we were in the hot tub, and we did not have to worry about him escaping at all, he loved the breaks just as much as we did! Despite there being a working stables, we were not woken by any noises and the cottage felt lovely and quiet. It was so clean, the carpet and furniture were immaculate, you would never believe it was dog friendly. You had all the essentials needed and there were even a wide selection of DVDs and a couple of board games for entertainment. Can honestly say this was one of the most relaxing weekend breaks I have had. I will most definitely book again. Thank you Kath and the family :)"

"This a a perfect place to stay if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing break. Owners were great with communication and despite living in the same grounds we didn't see them! Great for walkers and pet owners. You can walk through the Illtuds walk right down to the Harbour (8 miles round trip) The area is very quiet and pretty. There are stables outside the property which are perfect if you have a horse to take. There as a bottle of wine and welsh cakes on arrival which were greatly appreciated. All in all i would recommend this cottage to dog/horse owners and walkers."
