A stunning county borough in South Wales lined with stone buildings, history and everything you could wish for in a holiday destination. It has a busy town centre full of individual shops, cafes and resraurants. As well as an area of beauty, Bridgend has a range of shopping centres. It is home to some notable music bands such as Lostprophets and The Automatic. The capital Cardiff lies less than 20 miles east of Bridgend, with the other big Welsh city Swansea 20 miles in the opposite direction. Briidgend train station has regular services to Cardiff Central, Bristol Parkway and London Paddington.
