Electric heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Highchair on request. Off road parking for 1 car. Front decking with furniture plus shared garden with gazebo and BBQ. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 5 mins walk. Note: Due to spiral stairs and steep hillside location this cottage is unsuitable for the infirm.

Location

16 Larkhall Cottages is an attractive end-terraced cottage on a hillside overlooking Jedburgh, just 5 minutes' walk from the town amenities. There is a double room, a twin and a single room with additional pull-out stacker bed. There's also a family bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Down the spiral stairs is the living accommodation, comprised of a well-equipped kitchen, and a sitting room with dining area. Outside, as well as off road parking for two cars, is a private deck with furniture, and shared use of a larger garden with gazebo and BBQ. With the abbey, castle, shops and restaurants of Jedburgh a short stroll, and the beautiful countryside, forest walks and cycle trails of the Borders within easy reach, 16 Larkhall Cottages makes a superb family base.

Jedburgh nestles in the Jed Water Valley. The town plays host to a wealth of historical and architectural sites of interest, such as the Piper's House in Duck Row and the 16th Century Canongate Bridge. There is a lively calendar of local events throughout the year, including the Jethart Callant's Festival and The Royal British Legion Pipe Band and Jedforest Instrumental Band concerts.

From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain's best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.
