Reviews of Bridle Cottage
"Stunning location and property. Excellent welcome pack on arrival and very comfortable living space with everything you could need. Cove harbour is stunning and unspoilt and only 10 minutes scenic walk away. Plenty of good local shops, takeaways, pubs etc in Dunbar. We will be visiting again."

"Have just come back from a week at Bridle Cottage and cannot speak too highly of it. This was our 3rd stay at a Sykes property - all have been great but this is my favourite. The location was fantastic both for views, the lovely walk to Cove Harbour (as pictured) and for access to surrounding areas of interest eg Edinburgh and Berwick upon Tweed. We also discovered St Abbs - a pretty little harbour town that we loved and I also had a great tour round the Royal Yacht Britannia at Leith. The upside down accommodation at Bridle Cottage makes the most of the view and we loved both the exterior and interior and was really home from home. Would thoroughly recommend! "

"Unfortunately, it is impossible to avoid the potholes on the short dirt track leading to the cottage. However, the cottage itself is very comfortable and well-equipped. It is set in a peaceful location, with pleasant views over the fields to the sea, but within easy access of the shops in Dunbar (8 miles away). We visited in January and found the electric heating very effective at warming the cottage. Had we been there in the summer, we should certainly have made use of the outside table and seats to enjoy the views."

We loved the upside down cottage. The weather was typical Scotland but it didn't spoil such a wonderful setting. If your looking for peace quiet and isolation look no further.Thank you very much Pam, we will be coming back for a longer stay next time."
