Electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with FreeSat, DVD, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 3 cars. Front patio with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 7 miles, pub 5 miles. Ping Lodge is a great base for enjoying the attractions of central Scotland, including Gleneagles, Perth, Stirling, St Andrews and even trips to Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Dollar sits at the foot of the Ochil Hills on the road between Stirling and St Andrews. The town is dramatically overlooked by the remains of Castle Campbell, also known as Castle Gloom, and has superb walks up the steep glen to the castle, providing stunning views as the countryside opens out to the south. The town has a mix of shops and cafes and is situated 13 miles from the popular tourist town of Stirling.
From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain's best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.
