Reviews of Lochside Cottage
"An absolute cracking little cottage with everything you could need for a base to explore the stunning Uists. Ian could not have been more helpful and even met up with us to show where my ancestors were from in North Uist. The cottage is in a lovely location just a short stroll to the harbour at Kallin, great for a bit of pier fishing on an evening, or for walking around the many coves and bays of Grimsay."

"Very comfortable and well furnished cottage. The kitchen had everything you could need. The sitting room, bedroom and bathroom also were well furnished, and it was obvious the owners had put a lot of thought and effort into making the cottage ready for visitors. One of the owners made a special effort to meet me and show me the cottage, despite my late arrival. Fresh milk and some local produce were left for me: a lovely well coming touch. Good heating, hot water, TV reception and WiFi. Very good location for exploring all the islands. Very tranquil and quiet with only the sound of birds and the wind. A good place to stay."
