Reviews of Wickie Cottage
"This cottage is an outstanding holiday cottage with all your needs taken into consideration. It is exceptionally clean & spotless for every guest to enjoy. Donna and George have taken great care & attention to detail to make sure that their guests have nothing to worry about for the duration of their time spent at the cottage. You will have absolutely everything you need for a home from home experience & a very thoughtful welcome pack too. There's a washing machine, tumble dryer to do your laundry if you need to whilst away. There's also a great pizza oven in the garden to make your own pizzas, which is great fun! The location is fantastic for access to the coastal routes, Elgin, Aberdeen & Inverness. Plus you can walk to both beautiful beaches. There is an amazing golf course for any golfers...There are plenty of great places to eat out and drink and a fab ice cream parlour down on the beach front. It's an absolute haven for families and dog walkers. We have been here twice now and will definitely be back again. Donna & George have another house they rent out called the Wickie House too, if Wickie Cottage is not available, so check that out too, it's also amazing. I would definitely recommend both for renting at any time, you couldn't ask for a better place to stay or better service from better people. Whether the weather is good or bad, you'll always find something to do there and it's still a great place to be...we'll always have a special place in our hearts for it!"

"We stayed as a family of four and found there was ample room. It is beautifully decorated, with a lovely log stove and plug in oil heaters if it gets chilly. Bedrooms are spacious and modern, and fabulous hot showers. Kitchen is equipped such that if you like cooking you will find every implement you need, and there is even a wee garden at the back which is a gorgeous sun trap. The cottage is just a few minutes walk from both east and west beaches, and the town is no more than a 5 minute walk, with a choice of restaurants and bars. The perfect idyllic holiday. We will be back!"

"Stayed here from 11 - 17 June 2017 with my Wife, Daughter and her Boyfriend. Great location near to the Harbour and the Main Street. Nice quiet road with parking outside. More than happy with the Cottage with all of the mod-cons. Really nice with everything you need. Kitchen had everything you need to cook if you are staying in or having a takeout. Washing machine and Dishwasher (We rinsed the plates etc. Then did a wash the 2nd day, eco warrior that I am ). The bins are at the side of the house, the only thing you cannot recycle is the glass bottles? As one bin is for metal and plastic bottles only?? The food recycle bin was in the shed in the garden. You might want to bring your own recycle bags for that. Good free internet, nice comfy beds with the converted loft a double bed and two single beds in the second room upstairs with separate shower off the hall. The main bedroom downstairs has an ensuite. Liked the Nautical theme decor. A selection of CDs and books if you are staying in. We brought our own Amazon stick for the TV. Could not have asked for more and so happy we chose the Wickie Cottage. The owners were more than helpful and came around to the Cottage to show my daughter how to use the TV in the bedroom downstairs. Would definitely come back here if we ever come back to the area. A Big Thank You to the owners 10/10"
