Reviews of Deveron View
"The stay at the cottage was very relaxing. I particularly liked being able to admire the wonderful view from the window seat in the living room. The cottage is homely and very tastefully decorated. The super king sized bed was perfect and extremely comfortable. We have stayed in many places but this was by far the best equipped kitchen we have stayed in. The owners have considered every essential you could possibly need. This is good as it is not so easy to just pop to the local shop. Having said that there is a Co op in Dufftown which is more than adequate to get supplies. We liked the fact that it was remote yet was on a small road which enabled us to explore the area. We enjoyed going to the Cairngorms, Elgin - seeing the cathedral ruins, Cullen - a lovely coastal town, Loch Ness cruise, long woodland walks- soaking up the wonderful forest with purple heather carpeting the ground. Locally the Auchindoun castle ruins.. It was lovely to return to the cottage and totally relax. For us it was a bonus not to have television, computers etc. There is limited wifi so not totally cut off. I would therefore highly recommend this place to stay."

"This is a superb "cottage" very comfortable, very quiet - remote but still accessible. A very well equipped kitchen meant it was a real pleasure to prepare evening meals. We were lucky with the weather and able to enjoy several breakfasts and lunches on the deck overlooking the wonderful view. Highly recommended."

"Deveron View was a very peaceful and quiet place. The loudest sound was the wind streaming through the wood burning stove. The attention to detail and the distinctive style of the interior made me very welcome in this cosy cottage. My highlights were the lovely living room with the fire place and the huge, luxury bed. The owners were very hospitable, friendly and helpful."
