Reviews of The Knowe Upper
"I don't want to go home from this wee flat in Taynuilt. Have absolutely loved my stay here. Fully equipped, comfy and cosy flat with a large pretty garden which has a bbq. Welcoming bottle of prosecco, tea/coffee biscuits and milk in fridge. There is an ample shop called Graeme's Grocers straight across rd. Lovely shopkeeper who will get you what you need if he doesn't already have it. There is a beautiful walk to the pier with gorgeous views. The train station is on your doorstep if you want to leave the car. We went 2 stops for a drink in the Ben Cruachan Inn at Loch Awe. Gorgeous scenery on journey. I would come back here again in a hearbeat. Thanks so much to the owners Iain and Shirli...the bottle of fizz was a lovely touch and went down a treat. Alison Jim and family."

"Ideal base for great hill walking. The Knowle Upper was very spacious, owners clearly take pride in the building, really couldn't fault it. Would highly recommend, very reasonably priced."

"The location of the property is excellent, particularly with us having a dog. Not only did she love the garden but there is a fabulous 20 minute walk down to Loch Etive. The property was extremely homely and we all felt immediately comfortable. It was also extremely handy having the owners next door!"

"The accommodation was ideal and represents excellent value for money. It's location is a nice little village where everyone we met was very friendly. It is ideally situated for access to places of interest in the region. Spotting a deer in the garden was a highlight."
