Reviews of Ghleanna Beag (small Glen)

"Brilliant accommodation in a peaceful setting. Great base for touring the area, loads to do round and about. The cottage is beautiful and really well equipped, as far as we were concerned there was nothing missing. It is ideal for someone who has limited mobility and easily accessed via wheelchair. The owner, Eleanor, was very helpful and friendly and was prepared to help out in a difficult situation. Our mobile phone contact was not 100% but she allowed us to give relevant people her phone number for emergency access if necessary. We discovered later that if we went out onto the car park reception improved. I would not hesitate to recommend this property."

"A wonderful cottage in the heart of the historic landscape of Kilmartin Glen. Many neolithic sights were directly visible and accessible on foot from the cottage. There is an excellent museum in Kilmartin village one mile away, and there are good shopping facilities in nearby Lochgilphead."

"The property was perfect for us, really comfortable and had everything we needed. We could see ancient monuments from the conservatory and it wasn't far to go to find more! There was so much to do in the area and it was lovely to return to the cottage and relax for the evening. The pub is a 20 minute walk away and does lovely food. The museum is worth a look and the attached cafe has great cake. We would certainly recommend the property to any friends visiting the area."

It was great for walking, exploring and just totally relaxing. The village of Kilmartin is within walking distance with a great little shop, church and museum."
