Reviews of Crann Teile (lime Tree)
"This cottage is situated in the middle of Kilmartin Glen. We were welcomed by the owner, Eleanor, who showed us around the accommodation and we were immediately pleased. Eleanor is very helpful and friendly and the cottage is fully equipped as a home not just a holiday cottage, with absolutely everything that anyone could possibly want, including washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, hairdrier, books, games, etc. There was even a bottle of Merlot and some shortbread biscuits to welcome us. The heating was good and we didn't need to use the woodburner. It is easy walking from the cottage to explore the nearby cairns and standing stones, walking past the fields of sheep and tiny lambs bouncing around. From here we drove to Oban one day, across to the Trossachs one day and to the Crinan canal another day. We sat at the dining table in the evenings and watched a pair of eagles soaring over the mountain ridge.I would definitely recommend this holiday cottage as there is nothing negative to say about it."

"The owners have done an excellent job of converting the old village hall in to these two cottages. They are in a good position for exploring up and down the west coast ( as we did) . One good drive includes going through Glencoe valley. The scenery, within short drives, was stunning, we also enjoyed the rhododendrons which are grown in nearly everyone's garden and roadsides near the houses. "

"This was a very high standard of cottage with modern furnishings, comfortable bed and seating. Both the shower and heating worked well in the very mixed weather during our week stay. The owners could not have been more helpful. We really enjoyed the location as it was close to a cycle route with quiet roads for cycling and walking."

"Crann Teile is such a fantastic accommodation, do not miss out on this one so book early to avoid disappointment. The location is surrounded by rich history and even the lodge has its own story to tell, its first class and so well kept. Plus the owner is one of the nicest people you could wish to meet, you will definitely want to return. "

"The cottage was, decorated very tastefully, well equipped and cosy in very historic and stunning surroundings. We were very lucky to have perfect weather for October which just amplified how beautiful this area of Scotland is."
