Starfish Cottage is set on a hillside and enjoys wonderful views of the Sound of Mull, on the lovely Isle of Mull. This charming cottage has one bedroom with a king-size double bed, and a bathroom with Jacuzzi bath. There is also a sauna. The kitchen is well equipped, and the sitting room has a sofabed, dining area and a woodburning stove. Outside, there is a decked area with furniture and a BBQ, as well as off road parking. Ideal for a romantic break or simply for exploring the terrific walks and stunning scenery of the Isle, Starfish Cottages makes a super year-round retreat.
Salen, a small village on the Isle of Mull, is perfectly placed for exploring the island. Salen has two hotels, a coffee shop and a restaurant, and both the ferry terminal and islands capital town are around 15 miles away. There is great walking in the countryside around Salen, as well as mountain biking and pony trekking. The town of Tobermory has a choice of places to eat, as well as a chocolate factory and whisky distillery.
From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain's best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.
