Sitting room with woodburning stove. Central heating. Log burner (guests may help themselves to logs from their cottage log store). Electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, hairdryer, washing machine, TV, DVD and dishwasher. Free Wi-Fi. Fuel and power included in rent. Bed linen and towels included in rent (changed weekly). Travel cot and highchair available on request. Off-road parking adjacent to property. Shared use of a BBQ, an all-weather tennis court, football nets, putting green and walled garden with croquet. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Pets welcome (maximum two). Shop and pub 15 mins walk.

This village offers a popular location for sailing the Kyles of Bute, one of the most stunning areas of coastal scenery in Argyll. There are pubs, bars and tea rooms serving locally sourced produce. Rothesay has plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants and takeaways. Walk along the esplanade, visit the winter gardens and catch the open top bus for a full tour of the island. You can take the ferry crossing to Wemyss Bay, visit the castle ruins in the centre of town and enjoy the scenery.
