Reviews of Kylebeg Cottage
"Cosy, warm, well-equipped, quiet... what more could you want? The cottage is perfectly situated near to the Wicklow Mountains and Blessington village with many amenities and the lovely Blessington Lake. The kitchen has everything you need and the underfloor heating means a warm home to come home to. The peat-burning stove is a lovely addition, but not necessary for warmth. Tony and Caroline are perfect hosts, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. I loved it!"

"I've stayed at several Hogan's cottages in Ireland over the years and never had a bad one, they've all been good, each one different in their own way. Kylebeg Cottage is certainly no exception, a wonderful base for me to go exploring far and wide, which is what I usually do in pursuit of my interest - Irish castles. However, on this occasion the locality also was just begging to be explored, and the Wicklow Mountains was a must on my itinerary and certainly they lived up to expectations, even in the rain! Anyway, I digress, the cottage didn't disappoint, very peaceful, very comfortable, everything one should need to hand, and with lots of wildlife to see (outdoors!). The friendliness of the owners Carolyn & Tony was a bonus - close at hand if required, without being at all intrusive. Thanks for a great holiday. PS. The key's in the post!!"

"We are just back from a fabulous week staying in Kylebeg cottage Wicklow. The owners Caroline and Tony could not be better hosts. We arrived to this gorgeous cottage and were greeted with beautiful home made scones and told about all the places of interest in Co Wicklow. Our two girls quickly made friends with Caroline and Tonys girls and miss them terribly. The cottage has everything you need and is in the most amazing setting. We woke every morning to this tranquil countryside feeling refreshed and ready to take on the days sight seeing. It is a five minute drive from the nearby town of Blessington which has every amenity you need. Another place worth visiting nearby is Russborough House just outside Blessington. It has a fabulous park, maze and cafe. We will definitely be back to Kylebeg Cottage."

"This property is in the country but only half an hour away from the bright lights and old buildings of Dublin. Just follow the N81 main road to the tram park and ride sign and follow that to catch the tram straight in. Warm, friendly family welcome, even scones and jam. Just a very short drive from a large lake. Also a short drive into the Mountain National park which is stunning. Good shops just ten minutes away in Blessington. The property has a modern interior and kitchen but has the country character look on the outside. Great garden to wander in and watch the horse up in the fields. "

"An idyllic cottage in a rural scenic setting. Had a very warm welcome from the owners who made themselves available for local information. The cottage was so comfortable and the views stunning. We enjoyed the animals (ponies, cat, dogs, pigs and - most of all - the chickens who perched on our windowsills!). This was a perfect base for exploring the wonderful Wicklow scenery and sights. We would thoroughly recommend this cottage."

"Everything, already booked to go back. My father-in-law came with us first time (March). He enjoys walking and hiking up mountains thus was really a great holiday for him. We enjoyed it too. Hiring a car was definitely the way forward and we got to see more of rural Ireland. It was a perfect holiday which we shall come back to enjoy again and again. "

"Our stay at Kylebeg was just wonderful!! The owners allowed us our privacy, but were very helpful when needed. It was so great to tune out technology and just relax. We road tripped everyday so we didn't spend a great deal of time at the cottage in the day but we spent every evening there. So cozy and comfortable with modern conveniences- the perfect use of the space!! In a great rural location, within driving distances to some wonderful spots- would definitely stay here again!!"
