Reviews of Rathnure Cottage
"My family and I spent a week here and loved it. The setting is just gorgeous and the cottage is beautiful and tidy. The hosts were accommodating and friendly and left us to our own devices. This is a lovely cottage and was very cosy, especially with the fire which was a real treat when we got there first and were confronted with some wet weather. The internet also was an unexpected surprise, though we enjoyed being off the grid for the most part. I really recommend a walk down the avenue if you get half the chance as it is a lovely walk and some of the trees there are so old and tall they would blow your mind. I definitely will be going back here next year as it is a lovely place, with a grand welcome. I highly recommend it to all and everyone, as a base for exploring the lovely county of Wexford it is just perfect."

"Very clean and comfortable accomodation, but the pillows on the main bed are well past their use by date and need immediate replacement. Everything worked and the Wifi reception was great."

"A beautiful cottage in fantastic surroundings. The wood burning stove in February added to the total charm and relaxation. We always felt the owners were there if we needed anything but never looking in at us. Loved it."

"This cottage is first class the family who own it are very friendly and helpful. Our two grandchildren had the time of their lives playing with their children and did not want to leave, they definitely want to go back. We have been twice ourselves and were just as impressed the second time as the first. Brilliant place!"

"Lovely cosy cottage in a great setting. Everyone at the farm was extremely helpful. The owners made us welcome with a roaring fire awaiting our arrival on a very cold night. The weather during our stay wasn't great but it was lovely to come back to the cottage each evening. The cottage is very well equiped. It was great to feel part of the farm and its day to day activities. Our dog ad the time of his life too. We are booking again for summer!"

"Everything about the holiday was fabulous. It was lovely to stay on the farm, our little 2.5 year old had great pleasure in walking around the farm on a daily morning basis before we went out for the day. He enjoyed the seeing the horses, sheep and lambs, and he got very excited seeing the quad bike, and tractors and trailers."

"The property is immaculate and so welcoming. It is set in the estate of a large house and it feels like being in a costume drama as you drive up the long drive and into the courtyard. The scenery is gentle and calming. "

"Rathnure Cottage is set in the grounds of Monksgrange, a working stud farm set in beautiful surroundings. We were met by Ben and Joyce who were extremely welcoming and helpful, and this was the case throughout the duration of our stay - there was someone always available in case of need, although we had no need to call on them as we had no problems. Caroline, who works with Ben and Joyce, got my laptop connected to the Wi-Fi within minutes, and also made herself available in case of any issues. The accommodation itself was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with everything we could need, including an endless supply of fuel for the wood-burning stove. We quickly made friends with the resident fauna, the 2 lovely dogs, the friendly pot-bellied pig, and the hens. We enjoyed walks in the grounds and several games of tennis during our stay, and the cottage is only around 20 minutes from Enniscorthy or 30 minutes from Wexford - an ideal spot to keep the whole family happy. We are delighted to have found a new base in Ireland and hope to return very soon."
