Reviews of Mountain View

"Step outside the front door and you have the beautiful Knockmealdown mountain directly in front of you. Within walking distance of the local village of Newcastle and a short 20 minute drive to the nearby town of Clonmel where you will find everything you need including an Aldi supermarket to pick up all your necessities. The accommodation includes one double and one single bedroom with a sitting room and sofa bed if you need an extra bed. A bathroom with shower. The kitchen has all the mod cons and a round table that easily sits four adults. On a fine day there is outside seating to dine al fresco - unfortunately the weather over our Easter weekend was way too wet and cold to enjoy. If walking is your thing, then you are in easy reach of the Liam Lynch Loop walk and the Kildanogue Duck Pond. Our Golf had to be postponed due to the weather as we had planned to play at the nearby Dungarvan, Waterford and Cahir golf clubs. Instead we enjoyed the piece and quiet, having great reliable wifi was an added bonus. We had a lovely relaxing break. Joan and Mike are great hosts and full of local knowledge if needed for restaurant recommendations and things to to."
