The cosy village of Ballyvary lies on the main road from Castlebar to Swinford. The quiet village has a well-equipped shop, pub and takeaway. Ballyvary benefits from easy access to the lively towns of Castlebar, with the Museum of Country Life, and Westport, as well as Knock Airport. The superb fishing opportunities on the River Moy are available nearby, as well as many walking and cycling routes amongst the pretty countryside. The city of Galway, Achill Island and County Sligo are also easily reached making this location an ideal choice for a memorable Irish break.
