Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 3 cars. Lawned garden. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 3 miles. Beach 6 miles.

Newport is a small, picturesque harbour village, set on the shores of Clew Bay in County Mayo. Situated just north of Westport, Clew Bay is well known for its water activities and sea angling. This is a wonderful village location for your holiday in County Mayo.
The West of Ireland conjures up many images; thatched, whitewashed cottages, a flock of sheep on a narrow road, an emerald green field with a stone wall, or the Atlantic waves crashing into towering cliffs and rocky shores.

"It was very peaceful and quiet; a great location for exploring the beauty of the area - starting with the mountains just outside the door! If you want to unwind and 'get away from it all' and recharge your battery, well this cottage is ideal. The owners were very welcoming and if any problem had arisen, they would have been delighted to help. I really enjoyed my week at this cottage."

"The cottage has everything you possibly need in terms of facilities and location for a relaxed break. It sits just off the Great Western Greenway path which is a very enjoyable cycle or walk. Newport, Achill, Westport and Castlebar are all easily accessed by car. Overall a 5 Star experience and we will definitely visit again!"

"Great location suitable for a 'get-a-way-from-it-all'. Owners were so so friendly and could not do enough to make the holiday great. The Cottage is a traditional Irish 'home'. So for a unique experience this has a lot to offer, step outside and the holiday begins."
