Reviews of Aggie's Cottage

"Aggie's Cottage was very comfortable, with great heating and hot water always there as needed. The turf fire also was greatly appreciated after a long day. The owner couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful, and was always nearby for any questions or problems (though we didn't have any of these at all). The location was very quiet, but only a ten-minute walk from the town along a quiet lane. There are open fields directly behind, and it was always great watching the swallows racing in and out of the small outbuilding a few yards from the kitchen window, feeding their young. Difficult to fault for location, as there is a quiet beach a few minutes' walk away, and dramatic sea cliff scenery just a short car ride away ( or cycle ride on quiet roads). If you want to go further afield, the wild and spectacular North Mayo coastline and mountains are alll in easy reach. It's difficult to imagine anyone being disappointed with their stay here, to be honest, if you like a safe, quiet and lovely rural location for your holiday."

"I have been to Mayo a few times now and I would highly recommend this cottage, it is ideal for a relaxing break. The owner was very approachable, kind and gave us so much tourist information, I have really warmed to this lady. We have two very active boys and it was a perfect cottage for families and couples who want a peaceful break to enjoy walks and country life. There are breathtaking views from every window and I we will be rebooking this cottage as soon as we can. Very impressed with the layout of the cottage - loved the log burner and we didn't want for anything in this house. Fab Time, can't wait to return to Aggie's Cottage."
