Reviews of Kate's Cottage

"A nice little retreat in a very picturesque part of Ireland. The location of the property is good - not far from Knightstown and the ferry crossing. The property itself could do with a bit of an update - there was a distinct damp smell throughout the property which wasn't great. We were visiting the Island with a larger party who were staying down the road in Chapeltown so we spent most of the time at their house as it was much larger. We mainly just slept at the cottage with our 2 young children (1 and 3) and there was enough room for all of us. We were there for just under 2 weeks - 1 recommendation I would make to the owners, is that there should be a hoover in the property (especially for people staying there that long!) - 2 weeks with 2 kids and no hoover meant that it did get quite messy! Overall a nice holiday."
