Firies is a small village just a short drive from the town of Killarney in County Kerry. The area has a very rural feel, dotted with sheep and dairy farms, and is also on the Ring of Kerry route. Many attractions can be found at Killarney and Dingle is also well worth a visit, renowned for its beaches, cliffs and Fungie the dolphin, who has been a major attraction in the area for a number of years!
