Reviews of Rosmuc Cottage
"The surroundings were so beautiful, it is a perfect retreat from a busy work/life balance. The cottage was extremely cosy and had everything you could wish for. Its location whilst remote is still close enough to the main road which makes travelling for days out much simpler. "

"We spent a week in this beautiful cottage in a lovely location. The property is full of character, very well equipped with everything we could want. The garden was lovely to laze in when the sun shone and a day was spent lazing by the fire, reading when it rained. A great location and we would buy this cottage if it was for sale! The most relaxing place in Ireland!"

The cafe at the sailing club in Clifden served lovely food. Con National Park was lovely and Dogs Bay Beach gorgeous!! Kids loved everything and are missing the cottage and Ireland."

"This cottage exceeded our expectations. A stunning cottage in a rural setting, it was peaceful and quiet. The cottage contained everything that could make our stay easy - we were amazed at how well equipped it was! We were greeted by the owner who had started a fire in the wood burner, this was such a wonderful welcome after our journey. Galway is every bit as stunning as we had hoped, we had a perfect week exploring and left feeling relaxed and determined to return. We would thoroughly recommend this cottage to others."

"Lovely cottage bit south of Connemara proper, just a bit too far from galway. Great place to snuggle up with a book in front of the fire. Lovely owner, kitted out well. Dogs had a great time and we relaxed:)"

"Have just had one of the most relaxing holidays. The countryside is spectacular and the cottage a fantastic base. The dogs enjoyed it also, albeit the weather was very hot but there's plenty of water around, lakes or sea. People very friendly and welcoming."

"Rosmuc Cottage is in a beautiful peaceful location, there are plenty places to visit e.g. Cong, Cliften, Orterard and also Galway. The cottage itself is absolutely lovely with tiled and wooden floors, it has everything you will need from iron, hairdryer to dishwasher, washer and dryer. The owner was a lovely welcoming lady who made us feel at home. We were just sorry we couldn't say thank you and goodbye because we had to leave as we had a long drive to get the ferry. I would definitely recommend this gorgeous cottage, it's a fab place to visit. Thanks again."

"A very well equipped cottage with everything you could need for a self catering holiday. The scenery was absolutely wonderful and we were lucky and had wonderful weather - 24/25 degrees for the whole week. An excellent base from which to tour the Connemara area. This holiday certainly exceeded our expectations - we returned totally relaxed. Thank you for a wonderful location and holiday."

"We stayed here towards the end of Sept and had a wonderful week long holiday. The cottage is really well equipped and has a fabulous shower!! The Rosmuc area is really lovely - we explored the area on foot on mainly quiet lanes and deserted beaches. The walk from the cottage across the cottage's land to the coast was lovely and we even saw an Irish hare down there a couple of times, which was a real treat. Aside from the immediate area being lovely, the cottage is conveniently located for travelling either to Galway City and the wider Connemara area. It's easy enough to hop onto the main road and head in whichever direction you'd like to. The owner was very welcoming and accommodating with arrival and departure arrangements. All in all, a great holiday, super cottage and really wonderful location. We'd happily return!"
