Location
Seaside Cottage is a detached cottage situated in the coastal village of Rossbeg, just four miles from Narin in County Donegal. The cottage has one double bedroom and two family rooms as well as two family shower rooms, which makes it suitable for up to nine people. Also in the cottage is an open plan living area consisting of a fitted kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with an open fire. Outside the cottage is off road parking for four cars and a garden with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. Occupying a fantastic elevated position on Rossbeg's scenic 'Golden Mile,' Seaside Cottage offers fantastic panoramic views over Donegal Bay.
The village of Narin lies in Gweebarra Bay, on the west coast of County Donegal. From the beach you can see Inishkeel Island out in the bay, which at low tide, can be reached by foot. Close by are the villages of Ardara and Dungloe, while Donegal Town is just a little further.
The West of Ireland conjures up many images; thatched, whitewashed cottages, a flock of sheep on a narrow road, an emerald green field with a stone wall, or the Atlantic waves crashing into towering cliffs and rocky shores.
Reviews of Seaside Cottage
"Seaside cottage is a well equipped cottage in a great location less than 5 mins walk from the beach and pier in Rosbeg in lovely west Donegal and 10 mins walk to the local pub (Dawros Hotel). The cottage has all the facilities that you would want - it's not fancy but is very comfortable and everything works well, there's a lovely wood burning stove and fine views to the west to the sea, coast and sunset. There are stunning beaches nearby, great coastal and hill walks (head SW to the Slieve League cliffs/peninsula) and some lovely pubs (esp check out Nancy's in Ardara). And finally Brenda who owns the cottage and lives next door is absolutely charming. We want to go back!"

"Lovely cottage, with lovely views over the bay. Plenty space for large family, lovely log burning fire, pet friendly although no fenced in garden...the road was minor but cars did go fast past the property, small children and pets would have to be supervised at all times while outside...our only negative! The owners were next door, were very helpful and friendly and happy to assist with any questions etc. Beautiful area of Ireland, well worth visit!"
