Inver is a village in County Donegal, lying between Killybegs and Donegal Town, it lies on the coast and was once an important whaling post in Ireland. Home to a village shop run by a local family which also acts as the local post office, as well as a pub Rising Tide Bar. Donegal Town is just over 7-miles away and boasts a variety of attractions including Donegal Castle, Donegal Railway Heritage Centre, boat trips along the River Eske and of course a selection of shops, pubs and restaurants.
